HEY HEY!!!
Cold sweat trickled down my cheek as I peered through the slightly ajar door. I could see edgy men peering through the windows and among the people who were being held captive was the girl who can make my heart beat as fast as how it is beating right now on any given day.
With her cute little smile and eyes that disappear when she smile, she truly is my sunshine. But now is not the time to act mushy and recall one of those times we had so much fun we forgot the world around us, like that time we…ok, I said enough.
If I don’t act soon, this edgy men will turn panicky and do something very foolish.. and yet there was something tugging at my heart.. something that made me pray hard.. real hard. Enough courage came to me and I SWUNG to the back of the building where a new building is being built. Yes, it looked like those u see on movies where there are plenty of support beams and bars in the open, resembling the skeleton of the building. As I SWUNG around, I was surprised how well I could balance.. I jumped through the window of the captured building and chaos ensued.. next thing I knew, I had the CUTE girl with me and we were jumping beam to beam as the “edgy men” were shooting after us. Among them was SOMETHING, the same something that made me pray hard. It took no human form but I instinctively knew we cannot be caught by it.. after swinging from bar to bar, bending and leaping through the gaps in the skeleton which was exhilarating as it was frightening we managed to reach the end of the construction site.. with a “pfft” sound (ok, it sort of seemed like a fart sound but I really thought It sounded cool), the web fired off from my right wrist to create a rope strong enough to hold an elephant aloft (I’m exaggerating here, I haven’t really tried) and I used it to swing us to safety.. away from the impending “thing” after us. I blacked out and next thing I know, I’m at home and I’m late for WORK!!! BWAHAHAH!!
Yes I had a WEB-dream.
Maybe the details aren’t so accurate nor is it complete but I can clearly recall that I was spidey!!!! bwahahahaha.. super cool la! I told may I must blog about it.. I think I’ll still talk about it even when the time that I can hardly run, what more jump and leap off buildings..
The feeling was super shiok, astig, power and whatever slang u can muster to describe uber coolness!!! Haha..
THANK YOU LORD for giving us dreams to put a smile in our faces, tell us your will and for me, to show that even when we’re asleep, God wants to see us smile…
